Wait that should be above par
From the "Boys and Girls" episode of The Office. Jan is trying to explain sports metaphors to the ladies in the women's workshop. She describes what par is on the golf course, and then says:
| Right. Par for the course is a golf term. It means right on track. Uh, below par means worse. Wait, that should mean better. That doesn’t make sense. |
